A little bit about me.

Hi, I’m Jenny, freelance writer, nature lover and tea drinker extraordinaire!

I’m passionate about helping brands with a mission. Whether you’re an ethical business or a not-for-profit organisation creating positive change in the world, I can help you to stand out and connect with your audience through top-quality online content.

I set up Ethical Ink in May 2019 to provide a copywriting and content writing service dedicated to helping value-driven businesses. In these fast-moving, uncertain times on the planet, it’s more important than ever for green and ethical voices to be heard and I’m here to help you get your message out there.

As a copywriter, my aim is to use words to help you communicate with your clients and customers effectively. Whether you’re telling people about a service or a product, your expertise or your knowledge, effective copy is paramount.

Eco-savvy and ethical consumers don’t only want to know about the merits of your products. They want to know about you. Your eco-credentials and business ethics. They want to know that they’re making not just the right choice of product, but that they’re supporting the right business too.

I love to write brand stories, highlighting the positive work that you’re doing so that conscious consumers can be confident in their choices.

With a background in project management, fundraising and environmental education, I bring business skills and experience of working in the sustainability sector to my writing.

My specialist writing areas are sustainable living, ethical consumerism and social anthropology (which I studied to degree level at university). I’m also a qualified gardener with several years of practical experience in organic and wildlife-friendly gardening. When I’m not at my writing desk, you’ll find me knee-deep in compost or weeding the veg patch with a mug of tea in one hand. Mmmm tea. Did I mention I love tea?

Check out my portfolio on Contently and then get in touch for a chat.

I’d love to hear from you.

High on nature. (And tea.)
